The Six 3 Pointers Which Changed My Life

The first 3: Three 3 pointers in a row against Magic Johnson. "He was killing me with his hook shot, making me look like a little boy. Even though I played the point and I was 6' 6", his experience, his persona and so forth seemed overpowering. I have never been star struck and I wasn't then, but I believed the hype of those around me. When I closed my ears, I knew that I had my own "stuff." I came down court, left side and shot three long NBA 3 pointers over his outstretched arms. Swish, swish, swish! How you like me now Magic? Moral of the story: You always have an advantage!"

The second 3: 3 Man Weave: 3 NBA threes in a row when I was supposed to take a lay-up. Do you have the fortitude to pull from NBA 3, in a rookie try-out camp, when the coach wants you to end with a lay-up? "I had to do it, I had to let Coach Dunleavy know that I could shoot it and that I was serious. Dartmouth is a great school academically, but it's hardly a basketball factory."
